Brothers and Sisters:
I hope this article finds all of our members and their family safe, healthy and together. We in the IUEC have much to be grateful for and also much to do in 2020.
Points of commonality are hard to come by today. I don’t need to elaborate, all we need to do is watch our news feed. I cannot control what happens to me from outside forces but, I can choose how I respond to those events. I am personally grateful for and continually humbled by the Brothers and Sisters of the IUEC. The love and concern they show for families in need gives me hope we can find a common reference to unite with those outside and within our union family.
The new year gives us all a chance to look back, reflect and then using the thread of the events from the past, plot a positive future we can reflect on next January 1. No matter what events have shaped your 2019, use them to create a better 2020 for you and those you love.
