On October 12th the International Union of Elevator Constructors dedicated a memorial at their headquarters in Columbia, Maryland to those Brothers and Sisters who lost their lives on the job. IUEC Local 17 sent Brothers Bill Lynsky, John Patton, Business Manager John Driscoll, Jr. and Mike Moennich to the ceremony. Local 17 has six Brothers memorialized: John Babuscak, Kenneth Beechuk, Joseph Bonacci, Dennis McGunagle, Jim Sinclair and Clarence Sweeney.

Hot on the heels of this spring’s walleye fishing charter, Entertainment Chairman Bill Dudas announced a second charter scheduled for Saturday, September 9th. The cost is $40 per person. The charter is limited to the first 30 people who sign up for the event.
